What are Standard Size Shade Sails?
Our standard size shade sails are a practical and high-quality shading solution, available in a variety of shapes, including square shade sails, rectangle shade sails, and triangle options. These shade sails are made to order, ensuring a level of care and precision that mass-produced sails simply can’t match.

Each sail is proudly Australian-made using premium materials, high-quality machinery, and components. Built with stainless steel D rings at each fixing point and reinforced with 50mm seatbelt webbing around the perimeter, these heavy-duty shade sails are designed to handle tension with ease.
The fabric is a high-grade, extra heavy-duty shade mesh (340gsm), offering up to 95.5% UV protection. Available in a range of vibrant colours, it also carries a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty against UV degradation, giving you long-term peace of mind.

What shapes and sizes are available?
We offer a range of standard shade sails in the following shapes:

Are the shade sails waterproof?
Our shade sails are made from extra heavy-duty shade mesh (340gsm), which is water-resistant but designed primarily for sun protection. For waterproof options, please contact us.
How long does it take to receive my order?
All standard size shade sails are made to order and shipped within 7 business days of your purchase. Delivery times will depend on the freight company and your location.
Do the sails come with a warranty?
All shade sails are covered by a 2 year workmanship warranty. This includes the stitching and webbing. The shadecloth comes with a 10 year UV warranty direct from the fabric manufacturer.
What is the fabric’s UV protection rating?
The fabric offers up to 95.5% UV protection, making it ideal for protecting outdoor spaces from the harsh Australian sun.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes we ship Australia wide. Free shipping is available for all orders over $50. Contact us for a quote to ship internationally.
Can the sails be made with straight edges?
Our shade sails are not manufactured with straight edges unless specified by the customer (custom sails only).
It is important to understand that all our shade sails have curved edges, which allows high tensioning of the sails and minimises the ruffling of fabric when tensioned.
The curve between corners is inward and at the midpoint would curve in by about 7% of the length of the side (measured as a straight line between corner D-Rings).
For example a 6m side on a shade sail would curve in at the midpoint by about 420mm.
